What’s open and closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday?

The Easter long-weekend is upon us, and that means closures in the region.

All levels of government are taking the day off Friay and Monday, that means if you need any municipal, provincial, and federal services you’ll have to wait until Tuesday.

Banks are also closed, as are libraries, and there’s no mail delivery.

When it comes to retail, the LCBO and Beer Stores are closed today and Monday, but beer, wine, and mixed drinks can still be purchased at corner and grocery stores.

As for grocery stores, a couple may be open today, but closed Sunday. If you have a last minute item for a dinner or brunch, you may have to drive around a bit.
