A planned Hydro One outage is set to affect parts of Perth and North Burgess next week, leaving hundreds of customers without power for several hours.
The utility says approximately 800 customers will be impacted by the interruption, which is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The reason for the outage has not yet been classified, but Hydro One confirms it is a planned interruption and all affected customers have been notified in advance.
Residents are encouraged to prepare for the temporary loss of electricity during the four-hour window, including making arrangements for devices, food storage and any essential needs.
Hydro One says the outage is part of ongoing work to support system reliability and safety across the region.
