The Lanark County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has charged a Brockville resident with multiple sexual offences involving a child.
Police say the investigation began April 2, 2026, into historical allegations dating back to 2019, when the accused was living in Perth.
The man was arrested April 13.
A 35-year-old Brockville man faces several charges, including voyeurism, invitation to sexual touching under 16, possession and distribution-related offences involving child sexual abuse material, as well as assault and assault with a weapon.
He was held in custody for a bail hearing and was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on April 17.
Police say the accused’s name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
