Organizers of the Festival of the Maples are preparing for another massive turnout in downtown Perth on Saturday, April 25th, 2026.
Event organizer Brian Perkin says between 15,000 and 20,000 people are expected to fill the streets around Foster Street, Gore Street and the Tay Basin.
He says that kind of crowd requires careful planning, especially when it comes to traffic and access.
Parking is also a key focus, with several options available for visitors coming into town.
Perkin says visitors should plan ahead, expect delays, and be ready to walk a short distance to enjoy the full festival experience.
