337 P.M UPDATE: Listeners are reporting the vehicles are removed from the road and traffic is moving once again.
A section of Highway 7 in Mississippi Mills is currently blocked following a multi-vehicle collision Friday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at approximately 2:43 p.m. near 11896 Highway 7, between 4A and Tatlock Road. Initial reports indicate a four-vehicle crash is blocking the roadway.
Mississippi Mills Fire Department Station 1, Carleton Place Fire Department, Lanark County Paramedic Service, and the OPP are all responding.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and watch for emergency vehicles as crews work at the scene.
There’s no word yet on injuries or how long the highway will remain closed.
