Smiths Falls Police say charges have been laid following a reported dispute at a local department store.
Officers responded to a 9-1-1 call about a possible assault and say a suspect was identified and arrested at the scene without incident.
As a result, 24-year-old Kory Guyea of Smiths Falls is charged with assault, uttering threats and failing to comply with probation.
The accused was released with conditions and a future court date.
