The Linden Housing Co-op will soon open applications for tenants.
Chair Steven Welchner explained some units in the not-for-profit property are pre-destined for those on Lanark County’s RGI list.
He added the remaining units are are available to anyone.
Monthly housing charges will not exceed $1210 for a studio unit, $1350 for a one bedroom unit, $1503 for a two bedroom unit and $1725 for a three bedroom unit.
Eight units are also specifically designed for individuals requiring wheelchair accessibility.
Welchner says co-operative housing means a collective voice, rather than a ruling landlord.
Applications will be accepted until July 31, 2026, with occupancy anticipated for January and February 2027.
