Open Doors Mental Health will host in-person fundraising days at Independent Grocer locations in Carleton Place today and Perth tomorrow, supporting free mental health services for children, youth and families across Lanark County during Children’s Mental Health Week.

Lanark County Interval House hosts “Beyond Borders” tomorrow May 8, 9:30–11:30 a.m., recognizing Victims and Survivors of Crime Week. The session highlights grassroots efforts to address gender-based violence. Participants can join online for discussion and learning. Registration details available through organizers. St. Paul’s United Church and The Hospice Hub will host a free Advanced Care Planning presentation tomorrow from 10 a.m. to noon at 25 Gore St. W. Organizers say the event will offer open conversation about end-of-life care and planning options.
