Stuff to do:
The Smiths Falls Police Service is hitting the rink for Police Week with a community ball hockey game this morning alongside Community Living Lanark participants. That runs from 10 until 11:30 at the Gerry Lowe Memorial Sens Rink on Elmsley Street North.
Also today, Trinity United Church in Smiths Falls is offering its free monthly hot take-out lunch. Pickup is at 1 o’clock sharp at the church on Market Street North. The menu changes each month, and remember, it’s pick-up only.
Starting tomorrow and running through Saturday, Trinity United Church’s mushroom compost sale returns to the REAL DEAL Store parking lot on William Street West. Bags are 10 dollars each while supplies last, with proceeds supporting the church’s life and work. Hours are 10 until 5 daily.
And Wednesday night, enjoy a free evening of music with the Smiths Falls Community Band at the Smiths Falls Legion on Main Street East. It starts at 7 and runs until 8:30. Donations are welcome in support of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation MRI campaign.
Have an athlete or team you’d like us to showcase? OR maybe you’d like to share a birthday or special occasion? Drop us a line and let us know! Just email info881@mbcmedia.ca and we’ll take it from there!
