The Smiths Falls Community Theatre will present Wuthering Heights during its May Movie Weekend tomorrow and Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Station Theatre. Saturday’s screening will feature closed captioning. Tickets are $12 at the door, with the box office opening at 6 p.m. each evening.
An open singles dart tournament is planned tomorrow at the Smiths Falls Legion on Main Street East. Registration runs from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m., with play beginning at 7:30 p.m. The event will follow a 501 DIDO format with a $10 entry fee and full payout.
A stand-up comedy show featuring Jim McNally, Kamar Babar, Steve Love and Serge Nkusi is planned tomorrow at the Smiths Falls Curling and Squash Club. The Smiths Falls By The Rideau Market returns tomorrow at Lower Reach Park, running Fridays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. until Oct. 2. Organizers say the outdoor market will feature local vendors, food and crafts throughout the season. Details are available at smithsfallsbytherideaumarket.ca.
Scottish Country Dancers meet every Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at McMartin House, 125 Gore Street East in Perth. Led by experienced instructor Simone, the group welcomes new dancers of all levels. Dancing is done in soft shoes to lively jigs, reels, and traditional music.
