Lanark County OPP have laid multiple charges following a reported assault in Mississippi Mills Township.
Police say officers responded to a residence on May 14th after receiving a complaint that family members had been assaulted inside the home.
As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old male has been charged with two counts each of assault causing bodily harm, assault and assault with a weapon.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Youth Court of Justice at a later date.
Police are not releasing the identity of the accused under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
