Carleton Place residents are being reminded that seasonal lawn watering restrictions are now in effect through September 30th.
Under the rules, homes with odd-numbered addresses can water on odd calendar days, while even-numbered homes are limited to even calendar days.
Watering is permitted from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. during May, June, August and September.
In July, watering is restricted to evening hours only, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Residents with newly installed sod or major landscaping projects can apply for a 21-day exemption by registering in advance with the Town’s By-law Department.
