The Town of Smiths Falls will host a public open house on its Climate Action Plan at the Memorial Community Centre today from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Residents can learn about local environmental initiatives, receive free tree saplings and view electric vehicle demonstrations presented by local dealers beginning at 4:30 p.m.
The Hackberry Men’s Shed weekly gathering happens Tuesdays at 6:45 p.m. in the Carleton Place Arena boardroom, 75 Neelin St. Free and open to all mature men. Visit hackberrymensshed.org or call 613-257-1690 for details.
The Smiths Falls Community Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual Toonie Auction tomorrow at the Smiths Falls Legion.
