The Smiths Falls Firefighters Association will host a community barbecue during Bike Night in downtown Smiths Falls. Residents are invited to enjoy burgers, motorcycles and community activities while supporting local firefighter initiatives. Organizers encourage residents to attend the evening event and support fundraising efforts in the downtown core.
Canadian Blood Services hosts a blood donation event at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 95, 7 Main St. E., Smiths Falls, on today , from 2 to 6 p.m. Residents are encouraged to book appointments at blood.ca or call 1 888 2 DONATE to help maintain Canada’s blood supply.

The Adult Learning and Training Centre will host virtual Learning Strategies workshops tomorrow and Friday from 10 a.m. to noon. Sessions will focus on navigating online courses, listening and note-taking, effective questioning, and time management. Registration is required. Home Hospice North Lanark and the Town of Carleton Place will host a free 55+ Expo at the Carleton Place Arena on Neelin Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m tomorrow. The event features speakers, community organizations, wellness resources, swag bags and complimentary coffee for older adults and caregivers.
A Honky Tonk Line Dancing Night is set for tomorrow at 6787 County Road 43, near Perth. Featuring Just4Kixx, the event invites residents to enjoy an evening of dancing and music. Tickets are limited, and attendees are encouraged to secure spots early.
