The annual fundraiser, the AGH Run for Women’s and Newborn Health, organized by the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation, is set for this Saturday June 6th. Last year’s event raised more than $165,000, marking its most successful year to date.
More than 400 participants, volunteers and supporters of all ages took part in the 2025 run, with proceeds helping fund urgently needed equipment for mothers and babies receiving care at the hospital.
Foundation organizers say the event continues to grow thanks to strong community support across Lanark County and Mississippi Mills.
Parking will be at the Rexall parking lot located at 430 Ottawa St. in Almonte, and they’re will be a shuttle bus taking everyone to and from 95 Spring St starting at 7:30am. Please look for the volunteer in the orange shirt and park in the east end of the lot. Event details and how to donate info can be found at aghfvmf.givecloud.co/aghrun2026.
