Perth Fire Services is welcoming three new recruits after they completed a major training milestone.
Emily Frizell, Matt Leaver and Corey Flynn have joined the department as its newest members.
The recruits recently completed all mandatory certification training at the Mississippi Mills Regional Training Centre. They trained alongside other fire recruits from across Lanark County.
Officials say completing the required training is a major accomplishment and marks the start of an important commitment to public service.
The new recruits will now support Perth Fire Services in its work to help protect residents, homes and businesses in the community.
Fire services play a key role in emergency response, fire prevention and public safety. Officials say new recruits are an important part of keeping that work strong for the future.
Perth Fire Services says it is glad to welcome Frizell, Leaver and Flynn to the crew as they begin serving the community.
