Ramsey Hart is learning the ropes while relying on his experience as the new executive director of the Mississippi Madawaksa Land Trust.
The long-time ED of The Table Community Food Centre’s previously spent two decades in various formats working in environmental conservation, and jumped at the opportunity of this new role after leaving the Table at the end of 2024, where he learned a lot with ten years at the helm.
The MMLT oversees 4,200 acres of land, protecting and caring for donated forests, wetlands, wildlife habitat, and other natural spaces.
Hart says their work to secure more land continues.
