Holiday Train rolls into Perth, Smiths Falls, and Merrickville, greeted by huge crowds

Huge crowds greeted the CP Holiday Train as it made stops in Merrickville, Smiths Falls and Perth last night for the first time in three years.

The train is an endeavour of CP Rail, and crosses the country and parts of the US raising money for local charities over the holiday season. Locally, the focus is on Food Banks.

Last night cheques were presented at each stop for thousands of dollars to help fill the shelves at the food banks as they approach the busy holiday season.

The train featured entertainment by Tennille Townes and Aysanabee.
