It’s a day and age where so many people work from home, left to their own devices to get their jobs done.
In order to protect themselves, companies have been introducing Electronic Monitoring policies to ensure employees aren’t taking advantage of the situation. It’s actually law that they do so.
The policy also allows employers to make sure workers in offices aren’t wasting time or resources.
Municipalities are no different. Mississippi Mills has just voted to approve an Electronic Monitoring of Employees Policy.
The township’s policy includes Automatic Vehicle Location tracking system, periodic checks of computers and information technology equipment as part of maintenance and security processes, building and property security cameras.
The township joins several others in our listening area in making sure the policy is in place.
