Over the years, the Alzheimer Society has seen a pattern of people calling in for information and assistance around the holiday season.
Program Manager Denise Driver says people can see changes in each other after being away for an extended period of time.
Driver, says there are many reasons why someone might be concerned about a loved one at this time of year.
Driver adds that if you’re concerned about a loved one, you can reach out to the Alzheimer Society to talk at 1-800-616-8816.
You can also reach out to the Alzheimer Society of Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville at 1-866-576-8556.
