At a special meeting of Perth council’s committee of the whole on Monday, staff presented details on the town’s current level of service for snow plowing and removal.
Director Grant Mahon listed the priorities for winter storm treatment as beginning with main entrance roads into town and descending through hospital, schools, churches, municipal parking lots and the downtown to collector streets and finally subdivisions and dead-ends.
Mayor Judy Brown asked that this information be posted on the town’s website and social media accounts to better inform residents on the town’s snow strategies.
