
Lower-income Renters can now apply for a one-time top up of $500 to the Canada Housing Benefit from the Federal Government.
The money is a one-time payment of $500 to eligible lower-income renters experiencing housing affordability challenges.
Some conditions have to be met first. You must have an adjusted family income of less than $20,000 for a person living alone, or less than $35,000 for families.
And you have to be at least 15, and to have filed your taxes and a resident of Canada, among a few others.
