Be careful out there: We’re asked to limit travel to essential trips as the snow falls

The OPP and Smiths Falls Police Service are asking you to limit yourself to essential travel only today as crews fight the snow as it continues to fall.

For those that do head out, remember to start by cleaning all the snow off of your vehicle. Snow flying off cars, vans, and trucks can cause collisions that are easily avoided.

Remember to keep your speed down and make sure you leave plenty of distance between yours and other vehicles.

Please work together to make sure any drive today is a safe one.
