The town of Perth would like to remind residents of its process for handling winter road maintenance. With the heavy wet snow blanketing the community this morning, crews are out full-force.
Their first priority will be to clear main entrances to the town before they tackle areas such as around the hospital, schools, the downtown core, arterial roads and municipal parking lots. Next on the list are residential streets.
Subdivisions and dead-ends are the last to be cleaned up.
Residents are reminded not to push snow from their properties onto public roadways or sidewalks and to help out neighbours in need of some extra shovelling.
