6:45 AM: Hydro Crews working around the clock to get power restored

Hydro crews are working as hard and quickly as safety will allow to get power flowing after yesterday’s snow storm caused dozens of outages in our listening area.

Some outage to the north-west of Perth could be restored this morning before eight. Most in the region have restoration times around mi-day. Click or tap this line of text to get the latest from the Hydro One outage map. 

Additional crews and contractors have been brought in to help in the hardest hit areas however, challenging driving conditions continue to delay restoration in some areas.

Hydro One said in a statement, “We understand how difficult it is to be without power and we thank our customers for their patience as crews work through these challenging conditions.”

Customers can report their outage by texting 92887 (WATTS) or by calling 1-800-434-1235.

Outage tools are updated every 10 minutes as information comes in from crews on the ground. An estimated time of restoration will be determined for each outage once damage has been assessed.
