The number of fatalities linked to COVID-19 in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville jumped by three in this week’s report from the Health Unit.
The number of new high-risk cases also rose for a second week in a row. It sits at 93, up from 84 in the last report.
Dr. Linna Li, our medical officer of health says there are many things to consider as they watch numbers go up.
As for hospitalizations, there are now seven across the three counties, that’s down by four. None are in ICUs.
Another outbreak was reported bringing the total to six. All are in long-term care and account for 80 total cases.
