There are plenty of cancellations, but many services had planned to close early today ahead of the holidays.
The Health unit had planned on closing. But Rideau Community Health has cancelled all services and closed their sites today.
The community meal scheduled at the Table Community Food Centre in Perth has also been cancelled. They’re also closed all next week and return to business January 2nd.
All schools are closed and school buses are cancelled.
Many Town Halls are closed, some had planned to close early today anyway. If you need something from your municipality, call them. Most have staff to help out in an emergency.
And if you were planning on flying today, check your flight’s status online. Many are cancelled or delayed to and from Ottawa and Toronto airports.
