The Perth Polar Bear Plunge is just a couple of days away. The annual event makes its return after a two year-pandemic induced hiatus.
President and co-founder Dave Lavery says despite restrictions, they did manage to keep it going.
The jump takes place on the banks of the Tay River, just outside the Legion. Breakfast is served at 8:30, the plunge itself begins at 9:30.
Cornerstone Landing is this year’s beneficiary. The group’s Terrilee Kelford says events like this are so important for the organization and the youth they help.
This year all are welcome to watch as dozens will jump into the Tay River in support of Cornerstone Landing Youth Services’ Housing First Program for kids.
