Carleton Place hosted a New Year Levee yesterday at the Neelin Street Arena.
It was a chance for residents to celebrate the day and to meet council and hear how they’d like to see 2023 play out.
Here’s what Mayor Toby Randell offered on what he’d like to see for the town in the new year.
The Mayor says to make that happen, they’re working on communication. Between all stakeholders in the town.
New Councillor Sarah Cavanagh called the event a welcome sight.
Refreshments were served and residents could take part in a free skate too. All involved call the day a success.
