The Ontario Provincial Police describe 2022 on the roadways the patrol in the province as deadly.
OPP Sergeant Kerry Schdmidt says we need to get off on the right foot for 2023.
The Sergeant says more than 350 people were killed in collisions across the province. When boating and off road collisions are factored in, the number rises to 423.
The police force released year-end numbers in a tweet for motor vehicle fatalities.
It wasn’t just cars and trucks either: 44 motorcycle riders, 29 pedestrians and 12 cyclists were killed last year.
