The New Year’s holiday is being observed by government offices today, as it fell on a Sunday this year.
That means Town Halls, Service Ontario sites, and federal government offices are closed too.
Most Beer and LCBO stores are open today, as are most retailers and restaurants.
They were able to shut down for the day yesterday paving the way to open today.
