Deadline approaches for Canada Summer Job Wage program for local small businesses

The Small Business Advisory Centre for Smiths Falls and Lanark County is reminding small businesses that the deadline to apply for the Canada Summer Job Wage Subsidy program is coming up fast.

Applications are due by January 12th.

The program under the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy, aims to provide flexible and holistic services to help all young Canadians develop the skills and gain paid work experience to successfully transition into the labour market.

It also helps pay them, giving small businesses a chance to get some quality help without breaking the bank.
