Get them cleared! Perth Council hears about snow plowing priorities, asks for changes

Now this is timely, Perth councillors received a report from staff on snow removal policies this week.

Perth town director Grant Mahon says streets are prioritized during snow removals, but sidewalks aren’t.

That had Mayor Judy Brown bringing up complaints she’s received from residents when it comes to accessibility and a common response that she’s not a fan of.

Councillors voted to direct staff to prioritize sidewalk plowing in the same way they do roads.
