A man and woman who are facing murder charges in the death of a provincial police officer are set to appear in court today.
Constable Greg Pierzchala was shot while responding to a call for a vehicle in a ditch west of Hagersville, Ont., on Dec. 27th and later died in hospital.
Police have said Pierzchala was ambushed and had no chance to defend himself.
Twenty-five-year old Randall McKenzie and 30-year-old Brandi Crystal Lyn Stewart-Sperry each face a charge of first-degree murder in Pierzchala’s death.
