A fire Thursday morning had local crews responding to put out the blaze of a home on Rideau Ferry Road near Perth.
Drummond/North Elmsley Deputy Fire Chief Darren Gibson told Lake 88 Thursday crews responded to the call at 2:30am, and all occupants vacated the home and no injuries were sustained.
The home is damaged from the blaze but remains upright.
It’s not been deemed suspicious and the investigation continues.
Crews from Drummond/North Elmsley, Tay Valley, Lanark Highlands and the Town of Perth all responded to the call. Gibson said the additional crews were necessary to provide water.
