Although Central Bridge in Carleton Place opened for vehicular traffic just before Christmas, the finishing touches underway require traffic to respect the direction and control of flag persons where applicable.
Anticipated construction activity on the Bridge Project this week includes the removal of forms for the last pillars, railing installation, and additional work for the bridge’s decorative lighting system.
Depending on the elevation of the river, Louis Bray crews will continue with work on the southwest retaining wall.
