Local police have received numerous reports over recent months of catalytic converters being stolen from area car dealerships, but they may have caught one suspect.
Smiths Falls Police say on January 16th they received a call from a citizen reporting a suspicious male in the lot at a dealership in town.
When on scene, police located 38-year-old Robert Howison of Athens.
He’s been charged with theft over $5,000, possession of break in instruments and breaching conditions.
