It was a banner year in every sense of the phrase for the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario.
On top of hosting 14 major events, the most ever in a single year, Executive Director Becky Allen says they set even more record-highs.
She says the sky is the limit for the museum, and they have their eye on expansion this year and beyond.
They asked Smiths Falls council for $26,000 for this year to help them hire additional staff, $3,000 more than 2022.
