The first public information session surrounding a new project by The Table Community Food Centre is coming up.
Building Lanark Affordable Housing, or BLAH!, is aimed at accomplishing exactly that, through consultations and discussions with community leaders and members, working towards solving the housing crisis.
The Table’s Social Justice and Advocacy Coordinator Stephanie Corrin says on top of these engagement sessions, they’re also planning field trips.
Of course the issue of affordable housing is far from a secret, Corrin notes.
The project is financially backed by the Perth and District Community Foundation.
The first of eight public sessions is set for Monday March 6th from 6:30-8:30 at The Table in Perth.
