There’s a new Director of Corporate Services and Treasurer in Smiths Falls.
Myra Baumann was officially appointed the title this week.
Councillor Peter McKenna raved about the hiring and the wealth of experience Baumann brings to the town.
CAO Malcom Morris said Baumann brings tons of experience with her, and was even able to get a bit of a head start on her new role.
Baumann previously served as director of finance at Quinte Health Care, director of financial reporting at Kingston General Hospital, and was the senior manager of financial services with Limestone District School Board for over a decade.
