The Perth Blue Wings kick off their playoff run tonight at home.
The Blue Wings enjoyed an opening round bye after finishing first place in the EOJHL with a record of 37-4-1, and will face the Athens Aeros who swept Brockville in the first round.
Head coach and co-owner Bryan Greer said he knew they had a good team at training camp, but didn’t expect them to dominate the way they did all season.
He told Junior Hockey Talk last week that now the points reset to zero, and it’s time for each player to elevate their game.
Puck drop for game one of the best of seven series is set for 7:30 tonight at the Perth Arena.
