Lanark County has allocated their provincial funding for the second year of the Homelessness Prevention Program.
A little over $1.5 million will be going towards the county’s efforts to end vagrancy. They received the same amount last year.
Director of Social Services Emily Hollington went over some of the services under the HPP provides.
Hollington says they allocate the budget for the five service categories for the forthcoming year based on the needs they saw last year.
