After over 20 years of advocating the province, a roundabout is on its way at the Crosby intersection at Highway 15 and County Road 42.
The Township of Rideau Lakes confirmed the news the Ministry of Transportation’s study confirmed a roundabout is the preferred alternative to the blind intersection.
The MTO informed Rideau Lakes of the conclusion earlier this month.
The next steps includes designing the roundabout and eventually putting the project out to tender, with construction beginning as early as next year.
