A Smiths Falls man has been charged with assault following an incident earlier this month.
Police were called to investigate an allegation of family violence during a dispute around midnight on March 7th, and an investigation revealed the arrested male had allegedly assaulted his child.
The 33-year-old turned themselves in the following morning and subsequently charged with three counts of assault and released.
