As the spring melt contiues, Perth Fire and other servioces across the area remind you that no ice is safe.
Perth Fire says that ice and water rescue events don’t happen very often, but are high risk when they do. They also say that’s why they practice with regular training.
They note that ice conditions can change instantly. It’s just not safe to venture out as the temperatures are fluctuating. Just stay off all frozen waterways to be safe.
