You’ve no doubt heard that the Smiths Falls site of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital is getting a much-needed MRI machine.
The Hospital Foundation’s CEO Margo Hallam says they still have to pay for it and are working to raise over $6 million in the next three years.
Hallam says it’s a high number, but she believes its achievable.
There will be a number of smaller campaigns launched in the coming months to help raise the money needed.
Hallam says she has every confidence that the residents in the communities served by the hospital will come through and make it happen.
