Here’s something to make you feel like spring has sprung: the overnight winter parking bans are coming to an end for another season across our region.
Perth’s ban ends on the 31st, Friday. Meaning overnight parking is once again permitted on town streets (where allowed).
Same goes for Smiths Falls, which also sees its ban come to an end on the last day of March.
In Carleton Place, it’s the next day, April 1st.
Now we wait for the canal to open, marking the beginning of the boating season. That’s on the May long-weekend.
