A Leeds County OPP officer was found guilty of sexual assault of an unconscious woman,
In Brockville court in February, Justice Janet O’Brien said Jason Redmond recorded his December 2017 assault to “show that anybody could rape her,” in his attempt to “prove,” to the victim that she had a drinking problem.
Redmond was charged with sexual assault in 2021 but has been on paid leave from the OPP since 2015 after being involved in a local drug trafficking operation.
He’s being sentenced April 14th.
