No cause for concern: spring hydrant flushing taking place in Perth this week

Remember, don’t worry if you see fire hydrants in Perth spray water out on to the roads.

Environmental Services staff will be conducting Spring hydrant flushing all this week.

Now, fluctuations in water colour and pressure may occur, but will only be temporary.

You can flush coloured water by turning on a cold water tap, until the water flows clear.
