It’s going to cost you extra dough to rent out the two baseball diamonds in Lanark Highlands Township this year.
The township’s increasing the rate by 6.9% to match the rate of inflation.
It still comes in below neighbouring Perth, which the Township typically matches each year when it comes to rate increases.
Perth’s about 3.75% more costly to rent their spaces.
They’re also introducing additional increases for non-resident groups who rent out the fields on Saturday’s during the summer, while the Lanark leagues typically play on Sunday’s.
